AAAPLAY123 is a live collaboration where musicians and visual artists create together on one stage, transforming rhythm into color and sound into movement. Each performance unfolds as a one-of-a-kind dialogue between music, painting, and improvisation.
AAAPLAY123 is a live, cross-disciplinary performance where music and visual art are created simultaneously on one stage. Musicians and painters share the same energy, responding to each other in real time as rhythm turns into movement and sound becomes color. Each performance unfolds as a living composition, shaped by improvisation, structure, and collective intuition.
Founded by drummer Lucas van Merwijk and percussionist Steven Brezet, AAAPLAY123 brings together leading musicians and the AAAFRESH123 visual art collective. Guided by rhythm and motion, painters perform alongside the band, translating musical impulses into live visual expression. No two shows are the same — every performance results in a unique artwork and an immersive experience for the audience.
